I hope ipman 98 be able to figure out after the page that you showed..:rolleyes:

The last posted version still fails, does not save the name you choose, but it stops at the first string without space of the folder name to be compressed.

The error is evident at the beginning of the compression...

The Input & output string is necessary declare it in a variable, and then close in a constant of the character control.;)

Hey ipman_98 i really wanna help you. this is the source and check debug folder for the compiled GUI. i made it with sharp develp (it's free).

I fixed that space problem. Now input path can contain any spaces when compressing something, but output path must be free from spaces. Now only thing I didn't able to fix was tiny sfx. It's working when the path GUI in doesn't contain any spaces. But otherwise it's keep failing.

I checked it. thanks. and I was able to almost fix that error msg in mine by separating the each process.

better to include all folders (even if empty)
remove -ed empty directory
