Somethings is wrong with this conversion. I tried to modify the method of compression with 7zip normal because with the original method the repack size was 7XDVD5+600MB and I wanted the last DVD to be full and the final size is 4.1GB. But when installer begins, it copies all the data cabs in windows temp to unsplit the cabs from data1a.cab, data1b.cab, data1c.cab in data1.cab; data2a.cab, data2b.cab...in data2.cab....and after it copies from DVD8 and unsplit the data.cabs the installer stops, it say finish, I press the finish button, the temp is deleted and the game is not installed. In DVD1 is a file records.ini like this
Code:

[Record1]
Type=Split
Source={src}\Data1a.cab
Output={tmp}\Data1.cab
Disk=1
[Record2]
Type=Split
Source={src}\Data1b.cab
Output={tmp}\Data1.cab
Disk=2
[Record3]
Type=Split
Source={src}\Data1c.cab
Output={tmp}\Data1.cab
Disk=3
[Record4]
Type=Split
Source={src}\Data1d.cab
Output={tmp}\Data1.cab
Disk=4
[Record5]
Type=7-Zip_Split
Source={tmp}\Data1.cab
Output={app}

...and with data2.cab and data3.cab. It's ok to be there ?

I just managed to use this conversion with setup.exe from here:

Also rather then moving _Commonredists around, easier to just leave them in game folder & set location to {app} rather then {src}

Here's a hint: some of us don't want multiple copies of Redist folders lie around their hard drives when installing multiple games. It's enough of that cancer in Steam officially, we don't need that on backups, man :-/ It's indeed better to have them installed off of the backup DVDs.

Thanks pakrat. Now installation works well, ended with no problem around 40min on my system.

Tested play and its working. My game is Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition :D

Output size: ENG Only Language
7 x DVD5 (4.36Gb)
1 x DVD5 (700mb)

Only one issue here, during install the font overlap each other as per my attachment. Hopefully can get new setup.exe before I start to burn it into Bluray Disc.

Thanks GTX590 and pakrat2k2.

IF GTX590 would update CIU v2030 to latest it would then use {app} rather then {temp} for merging files.

GTX590 13-06-2016 16:27

That happens only when merging files!! I downloaded the conversion and setup.exe worked normally!!
Install is not affected.
I had the same issue with Fallout 4:(

Can you be more clear?

pakrat2k2 14-06-2016 08:17

gtx590 goto the ultraarc topic in tutorial section & grab the updated file for your version from post #2 for ciu

GTX590 16-06-2016 05:07

I've uploaded another conversion. So test and feedback please!!

belkacemdj 17-06-2016 10:36

when i extract the files of the rar the antivirus detect the arc file as virus

Tested using new attachment files in post #1.

Unfortunately encounter this error during installation.

I thought it is from my system, but I tried conversion 2 times and the result is still the same. :confused:

GTX590 17-06-2016 17:31

Please make sure you have enough free space on your HDD for both extraction and merging files!!
UltrArc needs twice the size of the game!!

May be I'll upload another conversion using the batch file method!!!!

I do have 300gb free size left on my SSD.

Edit :
--------
Maybe the problem arise due to out of RAM memory to decompress those files. I tried installation once again, and it is working just fine. No overlapping words, no issues like the one I encountered before. This time around I didn't run 2 other game's conversion during installation.

Thank you very much for the help, and for the conversion as well.
