no issues here either. Make sure you double check MAIN options tab BEFORE
starting, if not set correctly that's the issue.

What do u mean Main Tab settings are..

Is the ultraArc more effective in compression than Compressor v2.1..!
In case of SREP+LZMA..?:rolleyes:

omdj 26-03-2015 20:57

It also gives an error using SREP+LZMA :(

omdj and SAM2712, I will try to fix the problem, but provide more info. I wonder what causes these errors, I am starting to think of AVs.

Same here... 2400 rev 03/17/2015 is the best release so far.

Perfect conversion?

here is an example that is very simple

just make your setup.exe and have an icon named setup.ico and put them in a folder near UltraARC named _Installer

make your UltraARC.ini look like this:

Code:

[UltraARC]
FirstVolumeContent=.\_installer

[Options]
VolumePrefixName=PES2015_

[Distribution]
ArchivePrefixName=setup-
ArchiveExtension=bin

[AutorunINF]
Open=setup.exe
LabelPrefixName=PES2015_
Icon=setup.ico
IconFilename=.\_installer\setup.ico

[Exclusions]
Exclude1=unins00*;uninstall.exe;uninstaller.exe

then your conversion is complete

Upload your conversion.

The user will just select game directory, conversion output
CD700, DVD5, DVD9 or whatever.
He or she will choose to make CDImages and Compression level.
Then start conversion.

Hint: autorun.inf are created automatically so Don't worry.

I solved that problem by placing the UltraARC.exe file in compatibility mode for windows 7 ( I have windows 8.1). if you have windows 8 this may solve the problem.

I have a question, if it was answered already i am sorry.
So when making a backup of a game, i want to EXCLUDE certain/files/folders from COMPRESSING but still be in the package.Nowadays there are a number of files which doesnt really compress (like bik files) and it wastes a lot of time trying to compress/decompress them, but they are still needed. :). Is that possible ?

Rahmani1811 04-10-2015 23:23

hi used Ultraarc with installer creator when installing my repacked game i am getting this error CLS-MSC.dll is missing anyone help me

Razor12911 19-10-2015 13:46

i included all files correctly with installers that use ultra arc, probably your anti-virus deleted the file when the setup sprung into action.
