Can using only lzma compression get this down to a dvd5 (no additional 3rd party compression needed)?

Yes, everything necessary to run the game properly

mystikal242 05-06-2013 20:19

Thanks REVO for the conversion....the design is very nice...^^
But I'm having the same problem with new conversions, mainly in the uninstall....
Two different errors: kernel.dll and gdiplus.dll with many codes...but, if I try many times the uninstall works, but without the uninstall screen....
I have windows 7 x86...
Can it be the problem the new CI ???? Because I test the Shank Collection. The install and uninstall works great, with uninstall screen....

Fabioddq 05-06-2013 20:55

You know. This is a know problem of the CIU 1.0.1.2. ==> CIU 1.0.1.4 corrected the issue.
The issue occurs because of the protection, i think... if I remember. For now, try run as admin or delete the game folder and delete the reg key.
Shank collection use a old version: CIU 1.0.0.6. Not has such issue.

Added 1014 version of CIU, test and tell the results please

Cheers

@jksengko

Just move the _CommonRedist folder to RM folder.
Anyway the correct paths are:

Code:

_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe
_CommonRedist\DotNet4.0 Client Profile\dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64.exe
_CommonRedist\vcredist\2008\vcredist_x86.exe
_CommonRedist\vcredist\2008\vcredist_x64.exe
_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x86.exe
_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x64.exe

Hello.
It is necessary to compress, or changing the setup is enough
Thank you for this fantastic work.

No just overwrite new exes

bRIanYamiL 06-06-2013 14:31

Thank you. Sorry for my English.
When installing, I get the menu in English and not in Spanish, but the voices of the game if they are in Spanish.

WaltonSimons 06-06-2013 15:05

That's because of the game foolishly selecting INT as your main text language and no viable way to switch that, ini file messing included. Nothing. There is no way to switch the text language without having the original Steam version... aside from direct file modification.

1. Enter Remember Me / ExampleGame / Localization / *your language* (ESN in this case)
2. Change all extensions from .esn to .int (command prompt for auto change is e.g. ren *.esn *.int
3. Copy all files to Remember Me / ExampleGame / Localization / INT and overwrite.

If anyone has a different way, tell me so.

Now it works!
I've forgot to delete the Langs from Wwise folder. Also I've delete the Langs from Engine/Localisation. Final size = 4,30 GB.
Good Job, thanks again.

Maybe that's because you're located at "pindonga"! Everything is possible there! JAJAJAJA

Now seriously, maybe your system has a wrong region selected and the game auto detects it? I have not problems at all here.

P.D: Pindonga is an Argentinian Slang word.
