did you try to make it integrated install? 'cause I had that error with other conversion but it was with integrated setup.exe an external compression and this conversion is with internal compression.

sarmadi 17-03-2013 05:45

Thanks .I will retry to compile again with external compression.

pakrat2k2 17-03-2013 07:29

the reason you cant do internal, is because the setup.cab has to actually be in its setup folder ( not in cab ) so it can directly compress all those files including setup.ini
all into the setup.exe.

Using external just uses freearc files & extracts the filenames, read from setup.ini, to the specified locations.

Finally,as the the ROCK said,:D it works perfectly,on win7sp1x64.
Thanks to spawniectes. Thanks to pakrat;I have memorized what you have said.

I try but this game is made with the cryengine 3 the same as crysis and it uses the .pak archives and the compression method I try it only reduce the game a few mb the smaller size that I achieved is 5gb and I dont know how to use precomp+srep+lzma maybe that way can fit in 1 dvd5.

In step 6) - open langscript and compile, when I build I get this error: Line 1602: Source file "C :/ Test 3 / SGW2_2xDVD5/Setup/Autorun/Autorun.png" does not exist. Help, thanks.

Now if everything works right, but comes in English and with very rare letters, you can leave audio and voices in Spanish is my game?

okay i managed to get the game to dvd5 i just edit the installer script to make it easy for everyone(just replace the old one)setup.ini also modified.replace that also. _CommonRedist & Redist folders need to be moved out before running bat file(thx pakrat2k2) i forgot to mentions that.

Quote:

1.run the script agian
2.extract the compressor to hdd not in the same folder as game.
3.edit the sgw2.bat change the where ur installation eg: C:\GAMES\Sniper Ghost Warrior 2
4.run sgw2.bat
5.have Patience
6.move the created data.cab to the SGW2_2xDVD5
7.u will have to use trimmed down version of dxsetup so it can fit on dvd5
i hope i did not hijack ur thread mate just trying to help :-)
