It's not just about placing the song with 128kb/s... If original uploader had a song with lesser bitrate (e.g. 96 kb/s) uploaded to YT, you download it at 256 and re-compress it to 128kb/s, you have gained nothing...

You will just have 96kb/s song bumped to 256 and then re-converted to 128. Audio still stays lame as it did...

Also, can I ask all of you something (all the guys who do the conversions. You, Fabio, Senseman, Peterf, REV0). Can you disable the passwords on stuff that you didn't make?

I mean, I understand the need to protect something that you guys make, your intellectual property (Example being REV0's ME3 Collection conversion where he invested a lot of time to make those images). Feel free to place a password on those files, I support that but, please, can you disable passwords for files that you gathered on internet/or other places such as Music and screenshots that change in background.

I am known as someone who is a bit of a stickler when it comes to some things and, although I like this conversion, I don't like the poor quality of the song and the fact that that in-game screenshots are used for backgrounds of the installer. So, I am kindly asking, can you remove password protection from those files so we can replace them?

PS: I hope I won't be punished for these words as I mean no disrespect towards anyone here. I am strong believer of a constructive feedback and I am providing one with this post.

Okay, I missed the part where you wrote that we can use WinRAR to replace Music.mp3 file but my note still stands as I can't open the images in Background folder and see which images I want to replace.

i wonder why are people complaining about the media or graphics which the setup has. I mean, as long as it can install the game and do's the job. The media and etc is a bonus which the poster provided and surely its hardwork so just appeciate and motivate it even though its bad.(not saying its bad.)

I have replaced some images from the archive that you gave me and changed the order of few of them. I feel they fit better this way.

@Valeron, I am not complaining about overall work. I like the way he made the Autorun and windows for the conversion. The only things I didn't like was the usage of in-game screenshots (those with in-game HUD) and poor quality of audio for the background music.
I am a bit of a perfectionist and I like things to be in the best quality as they can be.

Well, since i'm using 320kbps songs (generally from OST or flac. converted audio) and hate ingame screenshots like HellRazor, no problems for me.

About precomp, I think it would be that. If you want to combine using SREP + lzma use like this:

arc a -ep1 -r -ed -w.\ Exemplo.cab(.bin) -mprecomp+srep+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d256m:fb128:mc1000:lc8 "DiretorioDeSaida\*"

Do not know much about precomp, so I think it is.

My compress.bat is based on Peterf1999's method. Open Compress.bat with notepad++ to understand better. ;) Is very easy.
