Uninstall Error

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I've tested it and it seems to be working fine, however when I tried to uninstall it from the DVD, the Control Panel and unins000.exe from the game folder, I get an error

Thanks

because when you created the archives, whatever with INNO you added the original uninstall files with them. You must move the original uninstall files from the folder before creating a new archive set with inno. Inno will write its own uninstall for the fileset. Your leaving the original's and thats why the error comes up.

Ahh I see, thanks a lot, I will try it again without the original uninstall files.

btw I've also noticed there's a small problem with the desktop shortcut name, it's Launch %1Alan Wake.

What can I do to change what name to appear as the shortcut, for example only Alan Wake?

There is enough pictures in the thread and also in the conversion. If you want me to make a tutorial how to open iss file how to paste your game's installed directory, i dont have time to make such a tutorial.

Check stickies about it, i'm sure you'll find enough stuff.

Hello, When I will compile step two, I get this error: Line 125: No files found matching "E:\(juegos instalados)\Alan wake\Alan Wake"..help me.

ceifadorx 04-05-2013 05:11

you need to change #define SourcePath to where you installed the game
exemple: c:\program files\Remedy Entertainment\Alan Wake

nene777 14-05-2013 11:55

The fate of the game installation folder is correct and still gives me the error.
