read the conversion peterf' did for NFS-Shift ( 1xDVD9-1xDVD5 ) same process, you pack the tracks & vehicles with freearc, replace the files with dummyfiles. It takes some work to get it to all fit but it is possible.

senseman's post uses games installer files. The remark i made to be able to maybemake it 1dvd5 is to read peter's conversion for NFS & use that process for NFSU2. You have to go READ that topic to figure out how-to.

Is there any newer version of converters for this game?
My NFS Shift 2: Unleashed is Elamigos version and there is only 3 data file in its installer, one of them is bigger than 5GB!
