With a 9800 GT ECO I run BC2 without HBAO, AA and Shadows in LOW, everything else maxed out at 1920x1200 and I get 40-50 FPS average.

I think right now the "Beast" is Metro 2033. With Advanced DOF only an SLI of GTX 480 can run it smooth.

There are some heavy games from the CPU point of view like GTAIV or Ghostbusters and someothers from the GPU side, like Crysis, Metro 2033 or Just Cause 2.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is pretty heavy to with ambient occlusion (as same as any game who uses 16-bit floating point for SAO).
