I haven't tried the mini-image method, but I have tried full images using Alcohol 120% plus A.C.I.D. to hide the virtual drive that the image was mounted. Also tried using Y.A.S.U. to hide the drives from SecuROM. The SecuROM in the 1.1 patch could still detect the emulation and wouldn't even launch.

I've tried creating a physical disk using A120 and it detects that as well and won't start.

I'll try disabling AV (avast) and see if that's the issue.

@mikehd
Just use DTE's vUSB and it will work ;)

The mini-image for the initial versions works fine with the latest A120 (standard SCSI vDrive) and it's ACID wizard.

SR 7.40 and above doesn't work on every config with ACID/YASU. But so far everytime with vUSB of DTE.

Mini-image works fine with DTLite and yasu! (Not for everyone,sure)

thanks everyone for the encouragement and tips. I haven't yet tried with my AV disabled, but my main goal was to get the no cd fix working. I might mess around with a mini image but other priorities will likely intervene.
