I'm Using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits with last updates.
All drivers and directx version is up to date.
My Graphic card: XFX Geforce 275GTX.

im having a similar problem...Game crashes at “Oswald 4-1” when going through the hole in the wall… then says the “crack locations”. i tried the "SAW v1.0 [5.8 MB] Fixed Executable" and it still happens... any ideas...

Okay...so I see this thread has been on hiatus for awhile, but I would like some help with the same problem (crash at startup).
I just updated my audio drivers and adjusted to 16-bit, 48KHz sound quality. Still no luck. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, SP 1.

just a thought for older games for people some games do not support 5.1 sound properly in 64 bit try setting it as regular stereo if all the other stuff fails it has worked sometimes for me on my other system Hope it helps.
