Why the trainer shut down my comp? I was testing it, make sure it worked ok, then went to close it, it said something about windows shutting down in less than 1 minute and then it shut me down? You really need to put a readme file with this thing.

Its not the trainer that did that, you may have picked up something elsewhere.

It seems to be a coincedence that happened when the trainer was closed.

heh i remember that from a virus wich floated around for quite some time... my nod32 picked it up.

open command prompt and type "shutdown -a" (without the quotes) to quit the process of shutting down in 1 min.

fireoflife 01-11-2009 07:23

Nope, its definitely the trainer doing it , because it only happens when I close the trainer down, all other times my computer acts totally normally.

DABhand 01-11-2009 07:39

Other trainers are fine?

Closing a trainer shouldnt cause a total restart of the system, unless you have problems as said with something naughty on your machine or perhaps the memory isnt dumping correctly to null.

Ok, the directvd file has cause me so much problem, DO NOT DOWNLOAD

on vista ultimate

get the same "restarts system" if I press OK

Task manager is disabled, can't kill the fkn process

really shady, only 2 posts from directvd. Obviously I should have used better judgement. Hope u guys don't fall for it.

PS: it auto starts now everytime I start my computer. AVG does not find it.

I had the same problem. The trainer shuts down the PC. DON'T download this crap.

After checking the trainer from DirectTV (Anno 1404 +10 Trainer.exe) itself I can confirm that:

1. This ain't a trainer
2. The executable was compiled with Visiual Studio 2008 under this name: virus.exe
3. It crashes with an Application error message in my "Sandbox" so I cannot confirm the shutdown "issue"

So it has been killed (including the creator) for obvious reasons...

The file has been submitted for malware review including all info from the creator!
