Working 100% - but...

peterf1999 Method works great:

At first i thought it wasn't working, because during the instaltion, it apears a message box that says:

Error 1311: Source file not found: L:\Setup\data1.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it

then i realise that data1 and data2.cab was ond the second image, so when i put the other image and click to repeat (not cancel) the instaltion keeped runing, then ask for the image 1, image2, and finally image 1.

but i noticed that only image 2 apears a message box asking for image 1, but image 1 doesn't apears the box sayng to put the image 2...

So Anyone here could tell me how can i make the image 1 apear the message box sayng : Please, insert the disc 2 and not sayng:

Error 1311: Source file not found: L:\Setup\data1.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it

But worked 100% guys, just be carefull about the fake error message, it only asking you to put the other image.

regards.

IMPORTANT TIP:
Oh, and one more thing

If you chosed the custom instalation, after the instation it will apears a window sayng that "the wizard interrupted before Ghostbusters (TM) The Video game could be installed.
The system has not been modifield...

Well, the only thing you need to do is: Copy all the content inside the Setup/bin folder and paste inside the programs files\Atari\Ghostbusters folder (the folder that the game was instaled inside your computer).

1) Create 2 folders: disk1 and disk2

2) Copy all files from DVD9 to disk1 folder except data2.cab & data3.cab Taking them in the same extension in disk2

3) From GHOSTBUSTER\setup folder edit with Orca Change volum lable From GHOSTBUSTERS to diskld 1=disk1 / 2= disk 1 / 3=disk2 / 4=disk2 / 5=disk1

4) copy AUTORUN.inf and ghost.ico files from disk1 folder to disk2 folder

5) edit AUTORUN.inf to look like this:

[AutoRun]
Open=0
Icon=ghost.ico

Burn: DVD1 with disk1 label
DVD2 with disk2 label

Install Sequence
DVD1-DVD2 :)

To clarify you're editing "...\setup\Ghostbusters (TM) The Video Game.msi" with Orca, and you're editing the MEDIA table to change the VolumeLabel for 3 & 4 from DISK1 to DISK2

It works but 1-2-1

Hello to all of you,

I have a question concerning uninstalling the game or, more importantly, how to do it. Is it possible to uninstall it completely using Revo Uninstaller or should I use another application to clean the Registry ?

Is removing all the folders enough ?

Cheers

Use Windows Installer Clean Up, e.g. here.
