Just exactly what I do, if RlD is only nodvd option I play with my original disc :) Anyway, RlD can do other protections OK, it's just SecuROM they don't, IMO. Of course we should thank them for their work anyway...

The whole cracks-are-for-the-scene-only-but-they-get-leaked is total bs.
That probably was a funny line back in the 90s and some people actually hoped it would keep off authorities or whatever.
There a quite a few reasons, and I seriously hope you don't really think this is true.

It's just like 0day groups writing 'Use this software for testing only. Buy if you like it.' Yeah, that's why there are cracks and keygens for apps with a 30-trial without any restrictions o_O

For me and my mates it is true, maybe not for RlD, but for CdSTeam it is. We had "released" Mysims just for "teachinG" purposes, because no other group did (and we waited some months until we did).

0 day groups earns a lot of money doing this, and therefore, they r illegal, and obviously pursued. Some years ago crack down with Deviance and Fairlight groups in efnet was because of this. If groups earns money, happens what u already know, and if RlD guys are doing so, then fbi is following their asses, and thats not good for them (...) and also to that ppl that plays "for free".

infovs, what game are you talking about? i think almost all the games are crack properly..
many new games got a bad crack but after a few weeks or month it will be fix properly..
and also, most of the new games don't need a crack..just activate it 1 time..then you won't need the disc..

1 month to fix a bad crack... then the crack shouldn't have been released (ie: poor testing, or 'desire' to win the release race... and no quality control)

activate it 1 time, then you dont need the disc... err, the protection is still there...

I just find the concept of crackers abiding by "rules" to be hysterically funny.
