why playing with the modified dll at all?
1) install the game from your DVD, use the serial supplied in the box (or mail if you purchased online)
2) update with 1.2 (some ppl who purchased the download complains SOMETIMES the update fails, take it up to steam or directdownload)
3) mount mini-image on daemon tools
4) run it

i have no problems playing ladder, direct IP or LAN games.

im having trouble with this. in the read this (supplied in the .rar), it says "Back up the rsss.dll already in your Soulstorm folder, extract this new one and the game should run without any CD check. No image loading necessary." the problem is that there is no rsss.dll in my soulstorm folder. i tried just copying and pasting the rsss.dll into the folder but no luck. the game runs fine with the disk.

i have a cracked dowss ISO mounted and i have both patches but i cant install the patches even with the original .exe file in the folder. i cant go online. i get a CD verification error. can someone help me

correction i was install the patches but i still get the CD authenication error when trying to go online...please any suggestions?

i can't get the crack to work. the file that the readme tells me to remove isn't there and the game works fine with the disk in.
this is my first crack so if theres something i'm missing, tell me.

No idea, only thing I cant think off is perhaps there is 2 english versions, US and UK and US has the dll.

But what I see of the file, if 1.2 patched version, is to copy the contents of the archive to the game folder, overwriting the files.

But remember the rsss.dll is in a folder called RS in your game folder. That is where it should go.

no RS folder either. i got the game "new" only a couple of weeks ago. maybe they changed the files to make disk cracks unusable?

It's there, just don't count on going online. For single player, the method works fine. For online play use your original DVD-key and a mini-image or the original DVD. Just search in the install folder with dll as a string and you won't miss it.

i get this error when i try to run it from a cracked exe. i get error : cant find filesystem.dll .. does it make any sence for anyone here ?? i think there is a easy way to fix it ....
