I tried both the daemon method and the russian no dvd on english , the daemon i think is better , but both might work remember to set the graphics manually because the game does'nt auto-set them.

Well, I have ill*gal WindowsXP and pir*ted version of witcher, and it works fine. Why buy copies that dont work when this way is much cheaper?

(There is some kind of truth in what he says, though: don't purchase a game before a proper crack is released for it. A crack will, at least, get rid of the problems caused by the copy protection.)

But if it's true, then u can only use a crack for the first chapter

I have the game and tried to use the 1.1 crack (don't want a freshly purchased game to be damaged) and my game stays at the load screen, I hope patch 1.2 solves many issues with the game
