DT 4.10. Pro "Advance"

The problem ppl have is that they use the "DT Pro" application to run it.
What you need is the "DT Pro Advance" application that hase the IDE option in it.

You can set the IDE drive by opening the Daemon Tool Pro menu and going to tools --> Virtual Device Manager, here you can press "start IDE adapter"

Anyhow it toke me a few hours to figure this out since all the read me files says you need to have just "DT Pro 4.10" and not that the IDE option only comes with the Advanced version.

Hope I save dyou peeps some time, enjoy the game.

Those emulations are solely needed for burned copies, not for mounted images.

guybrush23 27-10-2007 05:46

doesn't work for me either.

I did create a IDE virtual Drive with DT Pro Adv 4.10.0128 and tried to mount the poseden-Image. Emulation-Options are all ON... :(

Well, so we just have to wait...

You are mounting to an scsi drive. You need to have Daemon Tools 4.1 full version, ie NOT the free one, and mount to an IDE drive. Also, you cannot use XP64, any other windows xp or vista should work fine.

ng-aniki 27-10-2007 10:49

I think I know what was wrong with DTadv...

When you right click on the systray icon, and go into the virtual cd/dvdrom, look, you must just have a [scsi] drive, and the add ide drive is gray.

You have to double click on the icon, and in the main window, add an IDE drive. Then windows need to set up some thing, and the ide drive will be created.

Funny that since the mini-image or full image I made wouldnt work without the Tages emulation on.

Shadowmeph 27-10-2007 12:44

The Problem that I am having is that when I make the virtual IDE it doesn't show them at the bottom but it tells me I have the IDE loaded and when I go to mount them using the tray icon I get an error telling me that daemon tools pro advanced error driver 0 it doesn't so I then turn off the IDE and then reload it I get a message telling me that I already have the max amount of drives even though they are not showing up at the bottom lol I wished that some one could just crack this thing instead of using images.

1. Mount image in Daemon Tools pro
a) Install Daemon Tools Pro.
b) Copy the patch to folder where you install DTP and patch it
c) Copy dtpro.dat from
Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/DAEMON Tools Pro
to
Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/DAEMON Tools Pro (???)
d) Run Daemon Tools Pro Agent and make virtual IDE drive.
2. Install the game.
3. After installation mount a mini-image. Make sure that you click all emulations ON.
4. Install the 1.1 patch.
5. Play.

Well, it works perfectly for me.
