What the heck is this? I trust GCW but this has no info or anything, it stinks of being malware.

Probably some hacked configuration file that makes the game run faster by switching off some graphics settings...

Well not valid means not allowed.

As you can see from Empire's edit above that it isnt supported here.

The reason being, the digital download can be downloaded for free and then you stick a crack on, that is warez as you basically got the game for nothing.

Cracks for Digital Download games where the actual game itself can be legally downloaded as a trial won't be allowed, as DABhand says, it means you can downlaod the game for free and use the crack to avoid paying for it!
