Take it to any PC repair shop. (Of course, the repair won't be free if you didn't buy the PC/the video card there, though...)

It may not be an NVIDIA card. NVidia have been known to sell their own brand of cards, but mostly they sell their GPU chips to other companies who make the graphic cards. |
I believe it will be very difficult for you since you bought this from another country. Except if there is a depot of the manufacturer of your card e.g. leadtek, msi, asus, in austria where you are now so you can ask help from them. But I suspect, it could be your motherboard as well. playing games under 70 degrees centigrade temp of gpu wont harm the graphics card. It is normal to most of the video cards.
When i bought my radeon 1900gt, it reaches 85 degree centigrade when playing games and its around 60 degrees idle. I wonder how hot this card is, but that its normal. But I manage to bring it down the temp. Anyway, back to the scratch, try to look where the origin of the problem. could be the bios, motherboard, graphics card, monitor or even PSU. Try to uninstall the video card and install it again... but i doubt its the problem. but you can try. Good luck... :) as cool as ice.... ;) |
