If there is an extras folder, that contains DirectX etc delete that folder before burning.

Here what I try to make it less then 4 GB. I deleted the data8.cab. You can try to burn it to your dvd-rw media for testing. And please tell me later is my method working or not.
I've tried it at my computer and it works.
