I forgot to apply the patch: after installing the patch and place the fixed exe in the gamedata map, it works fine :).

Ok Can someone answer this question and I hope I dont get banned =) will the crack work for the demo?

TippeX 01-03-2006 13:00

isnt that a question you can answer yourself, and yes its probably against the rules.. well not probably.. it is

HellasVagabond 01-03-2006 15:59

I fail to see the reason of having a crack with a demo....
( Joe stop banning people ;) )

Tipstaff 01-03-2006 21:09

For those having problems with it make note:

The Reloaded release of STEAW was on DVD, and they named the DVD "EAW_1" (no quotes). If you are having crashes try doing your backups with that CD/DVD label.

Also, both files in the archive need to be placed into the games \GameData folder to work.

Joe Forster/STA 02-03-2006 03:20

@HellasVagabond: For your information, sighum[_]_1 has been banned for asking for download location of warez (which is against forum rule #1), not for asking for a crack for the demo (which is just a stupid question ;)).

cylaer 02-03-2006 21:22

work fine here!!!!!!!!!!!

=)))))

And you know the label because???

@Dabhand
No accusations or insinuations please.
Tipstaff has been a member here for a mighty long time, I am sure he is well aware of the forum rules, and as far as I am concerned he has not breached any of them. ;)

Joe Forster/STA 03-03-2006 04:58

Even if he personally doesn't have it, maybe his family member/friend/room mate/flat mate/school mate/neighbor has it and he borrowed the CD/DVD or called that other guy for the extremely complicated task of retrieving the label. (Without making a legal/illegal copy, installing it as a second runnable, therefore illegal copy on his own PC etc. etc.) So what?

Wasnt accusation Grumpy, you can see for yourself he said he knew the label.

Sure as Joe said above he coulda seen from a friend, etc, but he did break the rules discussing a warez topic.

Joe Forster/STA 03-03-2006 06:10

Oh, I understand now! Sorry!

Yeah, Tipstaff, please, don't help people with warezed copies! Thanks!

Grumpy 03-03-2006 07:54

Hmm, I still fail to see how Tipstaff helped with warez?
Ok he did mention 'Reloaded's' DVD, but merely stated the label they used. Then he goes on to say:

I agree he is treading a fine line though. ;)

DABhand 03-03-2006 15:44

Im not trying to pick on the guy, but you know.. rules are rules I suppose :)

Slon 04-03-2006 02:01

Anyone know if this crack works better than the miniimage? Do you still get the error when you shut down the game?
