im curious what games your trying to play? my chip wont let me play back up ps1 games. how about a list of the games you cant boot. you trying to burn ps1 games to dvd?--(dont know if that would make a difference). your english does make it a little hard to follow, but at least your trying..hell i only know 1 german word, and unless somebody sneezes i got no reason to use it

man my ps2 is modded so i backup ps1 games to cd and ps2 cd's to cd's and dvd's to dvd's he doesent read any backup ps2 game ps2 is "scph-pal 50004"
i dont know how to continue.... ill be pleasured to u guys... need help...

so absolutely NO game backups play, but everything else does? id say its in the chip or the wiring (like the guy in the 2nd or 3rd post said)

i can play everthing but no backup games of ps2 and ps1 so i also dont know how to check the connection...

This is why you need to take it back to the place the modded it or some other modder that can fix it for you.

First of all i think u have duo 2 GT modchip. As u say u boot every single ps2 (original) without any problem but not backup copy. So why dont u try this way and see if that boot sequence work.
1. Press the reset button to power the ps2
2. Insert ur backup copy in.
3. Press and hold the reset button until it power off.
4. As soon as the power off press the reset button again and see if its work.

Im only try this boot sequence once. So give it a try...

i gave it to the store where i modded my ps2 he checked sum points i got it back tested and it worked 2 hours later i tried a ps1 game didnt read it, afterwhile i tested a ps2 game same thing again, i think the chip/mod is off i really dont know how to turn on or sumthin..... or the chip is f***** up
