Can't be that 'cause I don't have CloneCD installed.

I've burn the emulator to disk like it said, I've set the settings in Alcohol after, like it said. But it still detects emulator software. Am I suppose to be running the game using a mounted image file of the original CD 1?

I ran the game when Alcohol open, it didn't work. I rebooted and ran it before running Alcohol, it didn't work. I tried running Anit-Blax but it didn't work.

I'll go read the FAQ now but currently I'm at a lose. The emulator worked for v1.2 of the game but not 1.3 I take 1.3 has better protection then.

I too can not get this to work, i burned the image, loaded it up, i succesfully updated my game to 1.3, but now when i try to play the game it dont work, i dont even get the 1st option screen that lets you change the graphic options. i have tried alcohol and demon - all with out luck

i have the same problem with my girlfrinds pc. everytime detected emulation.on my own pc it works fine. i am surprised because there are exactly the same setings and the the same cd-drive.:confused:

ive never had probs with 1.2 or earlier, or any crack for other games but this is hard, when i try to run stronghold, it appears in task manager, but it wont run at all on my screen.

I just burned the small image from GCW on a crappy CD-RW using the normal cd option in alchhol then enabled RMPS in my daemon tools, and it booted up no problem.

Did you burn it at 1 speed or max speed? I burnet mine at max speed. I also am on XP Pro SP1. SP2 is still a bit buggy in my eyes, screws up my net connection and the hand holding IE gives in SP2 just gets right on my tits, so I've stuck with SP1 as it does me just fine.

No DVD crack / image

Last week I bought Stronghold 2 v1.3.1 deluxe, on DVD. Now I am looking for a No DVD crack or Image. The image for v1.3.1 from GCW did not work with my version.
So is there a specific no DVD iamage or crack, or do I anything wrong?

Did you A) mount the image or B) burned it with Alcohol 120% and then used it in your CD/DVD-ROM drive with RPMS emulation enabled in Alcohol 120%? Solution A) will not work, while solution B) may work.

I have read all your problems you have with Stronghold 2.. i have try'ed everything. i got it to work with SD4Hide the 1.1v and SR7.stop
and when i quit the game and try'ed to start it up agein no nothing just:
"A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed" or "Emulation detected"
I have tryed to burn disc 2 in Alcohole 120%. and no nothing, but then i used SR7.stop and Hided and then i used SD4hide at the same time i got it to work but just once. And i hope a crack can be relesed because its a killer game:D

Your error messages are mentioned explicitly in the FAQ; read it.

Joe Forester. Can u show me? i did not see it. Its not one word that say executed in this thread so .. . . but can u answer me?? this is a help forum right? A required security module can not be activated. Why do i get this massage when i use my original cd?

This complete sentence "A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed" is mentioned letter by letter in the FAQ. Search for it and you'll find it! (Are you reading the PC Forum FAQ or something else?!)

I Tried both a) and b) but nothing worked. I've much different kind of errors like emulator detected using option a) (also with alcohol and savehider. And When I Burn the disc with Alcohol I've got an error because it's not the original disc.

What's the problem? Is it the problem that the DELUXE version is on DVD and the image is an cd image? or is it something else?

Oh, by the way, for RPMS emulation to work with Alcohol 120% and the backup copy CD, inserted into a physical CD-DVD/ROM drive, you need to also burn the RPMS emulation information onto the backup CD! See "Burn 'RPMS' to recordable media" on the Alcohol 120% Image Burning Wizard "Prepare your CD/DVD Recorder" screen.

It reckons there is no RMPS information in the source, and it wont let me check the box (Burn RMPS to recordable media). I have RMPS enabled in Alchohol 120% settings.
