Sunster, which version do you currently have ?

Joe, just out of interest, have you got any figures (this must have been researched some way or another, somewhere) on what percentage of people using no-cd patches, cracks or whatever you want to call them here, actually own the original game as well ? Just curious about it...

I sure as hell do not have that. Personally I don't feel like paying for the game once again just to be able to stop using the CD though :)

I can't find it ether and truely I tried returning my Disc (Cause I brought the European Edition) but I brought it off of Online and they don't return them so Im pretty pissed.

30.00 for this game is a rip off, but it was worth it then.

Im so upset.

Any news?

Although this is technically not allowed. You should have one CD per ONE PC...

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't get you right the first time. It's OK than and I agree, it's not very practical to carry a box of CDs along with laptop...

Oh, and just an FYI, the developers have stated time and again on their forums that the digital download allows for 5 installs so go ahead and install it on your main PC and your laptop.

Unfortunately its the 5 install limit that keeps me from purchasing the digital download, and hoping the CD version will show up in m y area soon.

I don't think the 5 install limit applies to installing the software 5 times on different PC's at the same time. I'm pretty sure that the EULA will tell you that, besides this limitation, you may not install (and use) the software on several PC's in parallel. Can you check this?

Sorry, but I have no intention of digging through any EULA. However I can link to this thread in the official NHL EHM forums where one of the developers states that yes you may install it on a second computer. I can also link to this FAQ on the Trymedia website that states you may install "NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 (North American Version)" on up to 5 computers that you own. You can browse Trymedia's website as it has seperate FAQs for the different versions of Eastside Hockey.

You can install it on different computers as long as you have internet for some auth crap but i guess that 5 means truly only 5 installs.

Joe Forster/STA 14-10-2005 03:34

@civbat: Wow, that's nice stuff! I'm truly amazed as most EULA's are not this generous...!

There still is no crack for NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 patch 2.1.1.

Somebody needs to make a patch for Eastside Hockey Manager 2005 for the 2.1.1 patch.

turdlet 25-10-2005 15:30

I tried to get it working with anti-blaxx and safedisk hider but no worky, however i think i read that quake 4 uses same protection, and that could fool it. So did anyone get it working by using something like those two programs? Or won't they just work at all.

turdlet 27-10-2005 22:40

yep, does indeed o.O

thanks alot.

JJO 28-10-2005 04:54

where can it be found?

capzilla37 28-10-2005 05:38

I would like that as well.:D
