i cant stand to get this game. As tages seemed to be dead, it rebirth so strongly. As always, if crack doesnt appears soon ( i have no idea of tages coding) just Spath actualized method will do the job.

TIP: sfmdf.exe v1.8 from a|b, the same tool to fix SF games, will do the job perfectly, cause it can replicate expected tages twin ranges without problems.

Its a cool adventure with many new ideas and gameplay.

I can obtain it right now, but i have exams, so i cant allow myself to get it to test. Most games i own, are used to verify copy-prot, and not for playing. If game enjoys me a lot (BOTH SIDES), i will buy it (as i did with XIII for example), but first i will try it.

This game is interesting for me for copy-prot and not for game itself. I m of those which test, and if enjoy buy it, but i will not buy at release time cause prize. I will not pay more than 18€ per game ( excluding personal feelings).

Sorry DAB, but i am of those who ONLY buy a game that DESERVES to be bought (Hearts of iron 1/2 (without copy-prot), mafia, max payne 1/2, victoria, and obviously a lot of SF protected titles). And usually, i test them playing one or two tries. If i consider game is good enough, then i will bough it (if prot is interesting enough i will buy it inmediatly). I will not buy every game i could test, thats obvious, i m not rich nor have enough time to play more than one at once. Anyway i DONT download any game, cause i want to test it at my own, so i'm not so guilty.
Fortunately, i can obtain games at a very good prize if i decide to buy at "release" time.

this drive roxx. ive repaired it 3 times and still works.
i got round about 4 computers to play around here, and some rendering machines, and the only comp where i can sometimes make an 1:1 copy is that dual 800eb with an really old acer dvd rom.

NFSU where copied exactly, stronghold2 copied exactly, dungeon siege2 and some older games.

me i got the eu version of fahrenheit for some time here and i am aviable to help out in any kind.

ps i was just writing that infos , because i thought it could depend on that drive.. if its a mechanical reason why it works, would suck. if its depending on the firmware, it is software, so there must be a way to implement this way of reading cd's into a generic crx .. or i am wrong ?

Have you checked if backup works perfectly have you tried more levels than the first ? cause Tages always uses secret flags or triggers that put the game secretly in demo mode after some levels if it detects backup..

This is a new kind of emu method especially designed for TAGES.
It is not quite a clone as we arent dealing with a 1:1 standalone copy.
That is, the twinsector data have not been added back into the image.
Technically it works like alcohol or dtools, running
a daemon that "reads" the tdf file and emulates the twin sectors.
This is released now so that people can enjoy this fine game
and not 6 monthes after street date.

The forum are dede a german forum for bloodpatches but after the post with the information the forum goes down for a maintenance work ;)
