Hmmm.... HL1 engine??!
 

If I can remember correctly the same problems occured with HL-1... and this is the same engine that bloodlines is based upon... so I just think its the lousy code in this game engine that causes the problems...
It laggs equally bad on all the different cpu:s I have played it on.... ( 3 now; all with different HW)

its HL-2 engine ;) I think you made a typo to be honest :P

As DABhand pointed out its HL2 Engine. (But that game ran fine,sutterlessly)

haha... I rarely say OMG, But i love this game, And have never until now been able to play it properly, due to stuttering! Much love! And if you wanna share a baby just PM me ;)

:D LOL :D Ive just had a thought. Get this. Imagine what the baby would like with the parents as follows = Coffin-Filler and devilchild. What would we call it ha ha.
