about..
about the 100% loading screen error. im thinking that it has something to do with the video/audio codecs. somehow i managed to get the game working before i had to reformat my drive. after reformating my drive, i had to reinstall it.
problems i encountered: after installing, i used the patches found here on copyworld.com and applied to it. i started up everything and the screen crashes telling me that the program has crashed and gives me that "send error report" i fixed that problem by uninstall Nimo 8.0 Codec from my system and keeping only Xvid and DivX. i started it up again and it worked. now the next problem i havent been able to fix just like everyone else here is the 100% loading error at "The Beginning" loading. for me the system freezes and my computer sound systems go blank. before Sp2 was installed, it stated that there was a error with a Device that made the freeze. but i havent figured out what the device is either. i have a Radeon card that does support pixel shading so its not that problem. but its a device problem for me. im still trying to find out. |

Hey guys!
I'm new here but came across the forums because I've been looking for a solution to my problem. I cannot run SW:RC. I've tried all 4 cracks/fixed exe's in all sorts of combonations. Each time I get the splash screen followed by "swrcommando.exe has encountered a problem and must be shut down" type message. What's going on here? Any suggestions? Also, could I have backed up my game with the wrong program? I used CD Mate to back the game up, should I have tried something else? let me know, thanks! |
I'm getting crazy!!
I've tried every single crack, deleted the avi files, nothing helps! I just get that stupid "send error report"! WHY! I JUST WANNA PLAY! Any ideas? |
Are your PC specs above the minimum the game requires?
|
It's a lot over the minimum. I could play the demo perfectly. I doubt it's the problem of my hardware. That error "send, dont send" is getting on my nerves. Maybe it's something about my software in the computer?
|
It could be possibly a newer driver causing conflicts, I know the new Nvidia drivers have been very badly designed, so try using the 61.77 drivers (still get them from nvidia.com from archive)
|
I've got Radeon 9800 pro, I'll try to download the latest drivers
|
NO GOOD!
It's not that, it's probably something about the crack. Maybe service pack is the problem? |
If its any help I have SP2 installed and had no problems with Republic Commando. ;)

What GFX card do you have in your PC? I know ive asked this already but you didnt give me a definite answer the first time. |
@Dabhand
lol, yes he did! Check post #24 it says: "I've got Radeon 9800 pro, I'll try to download the latest drivers" :p Youve had a brain fade, or the eyes are blurred? :D |
Yeah cause he had a post after that I didnt see it :P
|
Stop arguing and start helping! The crack is definetly the problem. Maybe it's best that I just wait for a new crack to get on the internet. Aw, hell. I'll just play brothers in arms in the meantime. too bad
