I'm surpised you didnt say anything about the other 2 people pirating the game.

i already said i am not priating the game. my cd is buggered,hence thats why i need the no cd patch.the shop refuses to take it back.so what elkese can i do ?

Why not download the current 5.0 nocd crack, then install the 5.2 patch then move the .exe file from 5.0 nocd over and it's done, worked for me anyway.

then you dont have the full new options and enhancements of the new patch, so it isnt usefull to install the patch then

The patch doesn't lay within the exe file it's from other files within the game, i have noticed the improvements on it, like example they forgot to put in the fixtures list "past meetings" they fixed it in the patch.

You will mess up the game. Many changes have been made in the new exe, and it's a part of the patch.

Don't know Kev. I don't believe it will keep all fixes. ok, you're right, it's not the executable that fixes bugs in the game but when you install the patch it edits your fm2005.exe file and i think it is for a purpose different from driving us all mad :-)) anyway, your suggestion can be a last resort!

What do you mean, I've always had that past meetings button in my game...

the patch will be out tomorrow am sure. tbh this is the longest i have waited for one.
