yes. but not all units can be repaired BUT this is a rule of the game !?

Not 4 me, after 3rd (or 4th) mission (as german), repair units doesnt fix my "hero's" tank, only small & AI units. Mayby thats how it is, but in first two missions it worked differently ;)

This problem has nothing to do with the crack!
its a known bug of the game ,infact i have this problem and i have the original version i have it with and without the crack .here is the thread about this problem in the panzers forum from cdv if you know how to read german .i hope it will be fixed in the next patch .man this game is buggy as hell :mad:

without the crack with my original game i can repair this unit
with the nocd crack i doesnt work

so i think its a issue in the crack

maybe i realy dont know it ,i just can say that i had this bug bevore i used the crack,and some guys at the thread i mentioned also.

can i still play other starforce games if i use this starforce clean.exe??

With the crack i CANT repair vehicles. without it works fine. maybe still a bug but i think it has to be the crack.

I just recognized that these supply camps/centers where u can repair ur vehicles also dont work with crack.

i think its not possible to play other starforce games with this cleaner.

It sort of sounds like the exe being used here is the one from the second demo, rather than a proper crack. In which case, it isn't all that encouraging. It would also explain why there are som anomalies.

Can someone who has the new demo post a checksum of the exe? I'll go and post one for panzers.exe later on.

i have both panzers and dtm rd2 installed. when i used the cleaner, dtm rd2 wants to restart the system to re-install the starforce driver. i can play both of them tho. btw: the panzers-crack works without the cleaner, too...

It's NOT the demo#2 EXE!!! Not even the filesize is different (demo exe is 300kb smaller). I did a bit debuging today. The Star****er's EXE is complete unencrypted and rebuild based on the retail EXE v1.04.

panzers.exe size / crc32

retail: 3.584.069 / B9FFBE17
demo#2: 3.592.261 / 859648FE
star****ers: 3.863.552 / B94BB194

That's some damn fine cracking so. If it encrypts the exe, I guess they must have snuck a custom int1 handler into memory which wrote the instructions out to disk? There's something in the inbar raz doc about doing that.
