games shark 2 ver 4 does work with my usa ps2 system.
i have played copies of serious sam and champions of norrath online with it.
it can be i picky bitch. you may have to keep reclosing the try by hitting the ok close button fast. it never works the 1st time for me. but it does work.

Ok, that's my new question now:
How can I see the GameShark's version?
All versions only says: "Game Shark 2"! :(

the gs ver should be on the back of the box by the bar code.
resident evil outbreak should work. all the others work now when they did not before.

i wasted 30$+ cuz i bought a newer action replay. thinking it would work. action replay does not want you to cheat online with games. so they wont let newer online games start after booting with the AR. even if the are the real deal.

the only thing stopping the game shark is the ver of ps2 you have. if the gs boots up it should work with the nova. if your ps2 does not work you will get a screen saying this ps2 does not support this GS or something like that.

Mate, just replace that pre-historic naff chip and get a newer one :)
