CoD:UO 1.51b private linux server patch ?
 

Hey boys, any info about Linux Dedicated Private Server Patch for Call of Duty : United Offensive 1.51b - for the coduo_lnxded 1.51 binary - there is only 1.51 private patch at Gamecopyworld... and cannot found it anywhere else. Or is there anyone who can patch the orig 1.51b binary?

1.51b linux binary is from 3/2005... and fixes security exploit...

Jeez, trying to download 3mb from there is painful enough, nevermind 352mb!!

I dragged it down from somewhere else and compared the v1.51 PWZ Private server patch and orig file to the v1.51b patch and found the same code and patched it!

If it works then cool and all credit to PWZ for their work, if it don't then I'm out of ideas as I don't play with linux or online!!

ok, so i know this is a REALLY old thread. But is there anyone that can help me get this working? I've replaced the cod2_lnxded with the cracked one, restarted the server and the problem we're having is it'll let either a cracked or legit game join, but as soon as a 2nd person joins the server, it kicks for dup guid. I've even put in the config the pb_sv_guidrelax thing...still nothing. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!

you are right that downloading from that is painfull :) i have downloaded it some time ago from some mirror and i have more than one copy of it, to be sure not to have to download it again :)))

yesterday i tried UO 1.51b linux dedicated pack + 1.51 private server... and it is workin...and exploit from http://security.nnov.ru/Idocument210.html is not functioning anymore...but there were another fixes so thank you..

Yeah we want to use pb since it's a dedicated pub server. guidrelax is set to 4 since we have cracked and legit players trying to connect any ideas?

if you have xfire or whatever i can send you our cfg's to see wtf if wrong. I've been trying to fix this for 3 days now...starting to get really old.

but you should set it to 7 !
it is combination of three relaxes, 1+2+4, it should solve problem with all GUIDs...and you will still have legit players able to play on server...

strange that you have dupe GUID error... and you have set it to 4 , so it should be relaxed...hmmm... but the value 7 should switch off GUID check at all... try it

dont have xfire/gamespy/etc shits :) but i think that you can attach a file here to PM if ya want...

Tried setting it to 7 still getting booted for dup guid's...which file you want me to attach? i have both server.cfg and pbsv.cfg, both show the pb values.

well whatever i did...it worked...i think changing both the server and pb configs to 7 is what did it. thx for your help!

ok, so the server was running perfectly, we had to change 1 thing in the config and reboot the server...now we're back to square 1. Duplicate guid error. Is this the issue of having to wait for pb to time out or is there something im missing here?
