A co-worker of mine backuped this game. I asked if he had any problems and he said no.....WTF is this patch supposed to do?

TylerDurden 24-02-2004 06:42

@Quall,

Did your friend back it up via dvd or hdd? Its only a prob when backed up on hdd. I wanna buy this game to test myself, but I havent had a chance.

burned to a dvd.

Ya its only when you go to play the game off the HDD it crashes.

Go ahead and post a link to where the patches are. Nothing in the rules saying you can't post about a patch. Its not copyrighted, but you can't post where to get patched XBEs as they are copyrighted.

Well the real fixes are .xbe's so we cant post them. But there is also a ppf. I recommend making an image patching it and burning to a DVDRW. Then transfering it to your xbox hdd. That way you dont waste a dvdr and you get to play off your hdd.

I am submiting the ppf patch since there is no copyrights on that. But since we can only post text you will have to "save as" ppf. ;)

Now that I think about it. You can use Craxtion to make the iso, then patch the iso, then use Craxtion to extract the ISO's files getting a ready to FTP game.

yea
ppfs can only be patched on isos
not any other kinda file

Thanks to all who helped & Tyler thanks for posting the patch link. Patched xbe files did the trick. Works fine from the HD.

Mine works fine. I needed the two patched xbe's to run mine! Now, the game runs perfect, off of DVD and HDD. This game kicks ass!

I have the Pal Retail version of 007 Everything or Nothing

and the available "fixed" default.xbe & driving.xbe files do NOT work on the Pal release.

The game will still NOT load from Hard Drive when installed there and only gets to the main menu where you then select Start game and it freezes.

The Pal release true to EA's past form is obviously different compiled code and will need someone to "fix" the .xbe files like they did with the NTSC version before we Pal owners can enjoy to play from HD...

... until then just have to play from DVD .... whirrrr, whizzzz, fart, slooooooow loaddddssss....zzzzzzz

AXmichigan 27-02-2004 02:36

yea
if i can recall correctly, the patched xbes only work for the ntsc..
perhaps the ppf could work?

TylerDurden 27-02-2004 06:36

The ppf's wont work for anything but the NTSC version, because of a filesize difference.

The patch I posted are only fixes for NTSC 007.

Is there any way to apply a master disc patch, so that it will work on a PS2 debug machine?

I'm guessing its the protection thats stopping me from doing it, but is there any way around this?

BTW, I'm on about the PS2 version of the game, just to avoid confusion :D
