Well first I use a flip cover to instert and remove the disks. And second why would I have to adjust the laser, because I can play the dvd-r movies just fine, but the dvd-r games freeze and they are on the same media also.

I use to think the same thing about it being able to play DVD-R movies. One would think that if it can play DVD-R movies that to play a DVD-R game would be no problem. This just isn't the case. The DVD-R game goes through a bunch of copy protection checks and if the laser isn't reading well it will through off the timing of the PS2 and not read correctly. A good way to determine if your laser is on the frits is to put in an original PS2 silver and if when booting up the disc it goes to the browser screen before if finally boots then you could have a laser issue.

Nah...bighap wopz right first time....Check it works wiv originals an sell it on. Then pick up a S/H version 7 an use that m8ee. He also right that u will kill yr ps2 if u keep usin slidecard.

Honest I have never said anything about the release of an game before. All I have said what is in this ps2 post, and another one in gamecube but that was about dling them and not about when a game will be released.

I was wondering if also could the problems with copying my existing ps2 games be with the dvd burner I have. Here is a link to the burner I am using.
