The cornwall BIOS is so worthless it won’t even let you play back-ups. It won’t even let you run EvoX or any other app for the XBox.

go with the x2 bios if its not given with it

im gettin the xbox after christmas what chip would be better the x2 lite x2 lite plus or the x2 pro i saw them at www.kanection.co.uk can anyone else tell me a good chip?

x2 lite if u can solder

The newer chips are only getting more user friendly. The x3 is basically more user friendly and designed to work on every xbox, which i think the x2 lite+ might.

The ground point will no longer be needed to be soldered, ther is a new plug tat hooks in back of the dvd-rom or hdd, well, one of em... If you can solder, go for the x2 lite if you have a v1-v1.3 xbox, it is about $15 cheaper.

the latest x2 lite is relatively the same as the x3 i believe..

if there are not bios, you may want to buy the programmer as well.... Try and find a chip with the legal "Cromwell" bios. It has software to flash your chip on it, so no additional items need to be purchased.
