Have you tried doing one patch before the other and vice versa? I know some patches are numerically sensitive.

Yep

First I tried text then movie, image was fine with the text patch but gor corrupted from the movie

Then I tired the movie first, it got corrupted, I tried the text one after the movie anyway, still corrupted

TylerDurden 15-10-2003 06:32

Is there any way you can check to see if that patch that messes up is still valid and not corrupted?

Not really, no, I dont have a sfv for the patch.

But others I have asked that downloaded the patch from the same site said it worked for them.

I E-Mailed the patch's creator and he said this is the first time he heard something liek this happening.

Maybe you can ask the maker of the patch to make an SFV for you. Or redownload the patch and compair the 2 with hex editor.

I have a feeling that this is a corrupted patch.

Redownloaded it already, same thing

And I did ask the author for a sfv, he says he has no idea how to make one

Dude, I wish I had an answer for you. I really suspect it has something to do with either the patch or the image file. You may want to try making different types of images like CloneCD images, a DiscJuggler iso, or even an Alcohol image. Who knows what the guy who made the image used.

Other than that I give up. Sorry.

Tyler! :(

Oh well, thanks for trying to help. Ill post here if I am able to do anything to get it patched successfully.

TylerDurden 16-10-2003 08:59

Yes please do.
