i have decided on my writer but havin prob choosin DVD-Rom drive.... thought i pickup Liteon hd165h drive..is it any good....suppose to b too loud?///....is it worth or r LG's a better choice...(i like liteon drives cause i can update their firmware(it it offcially available, right!), can i do thew same on lg's )???....

yeah get the liteon cd writer and get an lg dvd rom drive and yes you can get updated firmware for the lg drives
