In india labour is a way tooo cheap
They r professional installers installing chips for 9$
Thats not much thats y i got a miagic 3.6 and till now everything works
all the backups which i had all of them hav been tested and work so far without any problem

Man the installer was a pro
Do u know he even didnot see the diagram to install the chip
He just did it on his own in kinda 5 minutes
He installs around 10 chips a day
And only charges 10$ for it
Thats a waay too cheap

Have you tried a dvd9 or Kingdom Hearts? Those are two known probs the magic 3.0 has.

No i tried Devil may cry 2
Its also a DVD9 game

Nope, it is a dvd5. Try Xenosaga or Gran Turismo Concept 2002 Tokyo Geneva (JAP). They are both dvd9.

I have a Magic 3 and Kingdom Hearts plays no freeze as does Gta VC original also no freeze ever! MGS Substance (DVD9) boots fine. I find DVD9 works best if you boot it in "ps1/movie mode hold reset for 3 seconds" Magic is a fine chip (if you are lucky enought to get a working one). Also I have over 40 rips (due to the old neo 2.2) and have all the rips Charlie says will not work on his magic 3 test but work on mine.

Hai bighap i am having little problem with Splinter cell (magic 3.6)
I hav to press reset around 5 to 6 times to load this game
Wat would be the problem
All the other games work fine by pressing reset once but not Splinter ceelll
Could u tell me the problem

Some people got lucky and got VERY good Magic chips. Most people got Taiwanese copies that suck balls. You are one of the lucky ones. Count your blessings!

Magics r great chips
But some get lucky but some dont
But i am in the middle of it
Now i just booted splinter cell
Now this time i had to press just reset 2 times to play splinter cell
Let me go and try again
It just booted normally as other games do
But all the other backups like GTA vice city , Smackdown and all mmy other backups and rips boot fine
Its just the Splinter cell
Which i hav to press twice
But i guess its not a bad chip
It boots my backups 95%

Are you sure that you do not have a magic 3.6? Also you should not be able to boot DVD9 PS2 games in PSX\DVD mode at all. It is possible that you have a magic 3.6 and are disabling the chip when holding it down that long. thus allowing your DVD9 game to work.


PS2 and others:

Many people as of late have had trouble booting splinter cell. many of those that thought that it booted OK had trouble when they tried to start a game. I have tested on a Messiah 2 and DMS3 and it plays fine, I have heard of trouble though will all other chips.

I didnot say that i was having problem with Splinter cell
I just said that i had to press reset button twice or thrice to play the game
It just boots fine with me
And i think this is not a problem though
Magic chips r really good
And also headly could u name some games which u think will play without any problem on DMS3 and M2p but not on Magic
Pleez list some old games though not the new ones like xenogasa kingdom hearts etc
Tell me some other games which hav double checks ( Splinter cell if i am not wrong)
