How EXACTLY did you back it up?

What program did you use and what type of media?

Hi, I've just tested Tony hawks 4 on my pal version 7 with no solder and swap magic 2 discs and it plays perfectly so it's a bit of a strange situation.

Maybe the swap magic 2 discs function slightly different depending on the model of the machine?

Ive got a couple of suggestions for you though, first if you're using a RGB scart lead then try replacing it with the standard composite scart cable you get with the machine.

I've noticed that with a couple of the games I have, when playing the backup the developer screens get missed out and it loads the title screen directly (mostly on imports though) although the backup doesnt.

Oh, and try booting your original tony hawks 4 behind the swap magic disc. If that shows up black and white too then you def know the magic disc is at fault......Although on my v7 it plays fine.

Report back your findings......

i am using nero (latest one)to backup and traxdata dvd+r.

i have just backed up timesplitters 2 which plays no problem so i know its not the discs,i also tried alcohol 120 but it still came out b&w.

i dont understand what you mean by booting "behind" the swap magic discs????/

i also thought ther was only one type of lead(the one you get with it).

hope you can shed some light on the matter:D
