I have no idea why they put out regions... U can buy the game on amazon. And play the game in Europe.

But those who don't understand English can't get a copy before it's launch in Europe. And there the SafeDisc and SecuRom version are being use full.

But since only difference in files is in copy-protection used,
wouldn't no-cd crack and 1.21f US version work with Europeans too (since cd-crack removes cd-check from exe file)?

I remeber before European patch v1.14 is released that some people installed US version, which obviously didn't worked.

Then they appled no-cd crack and it began working again.

Maybe it's do or maybe not. I've have not tested. I have buy my game from Amazon. So I've got the US version. I'm only have no-cd crack for US so I can't tell U if the Europe Version works!

I tried patching my europe version then using he no cd patch. I had a game that froze my system after 30 mins and 3 atempts to play a game where the game woiuld nt let me join and gave me a message the host has cancelled the game. So from my opinion it doesnt work

Am I alone to have this problem?

When I run the 1.21f No-CD pathed EXE (I found here in this thread), Windows XP always ask me to send an Error Report and then go back to winblows desktop....
Im able to load, set up my game but when starting it (After it loaded and configurated Human, AI and Terrain), "Send Error Report"
Why?

I have English Version.
With Original CD and 1.21f without patch = OK
With the Fixed exe = XP Problem....

Never experiemented this kind of prob with earlier version of patch...

What? I have no-cd fixed 1.21 and it's work fine. And I'm using windows XP...

Me too i fixed mine ans mine is the uk version ( or unfixed it which ever u prefer) and it didnt crash my windows xp, Worked fine but i became paranoid when i kept getting the host has cancelled when i tried to join a game or propped a game. I did have 1 succesfull game for a bout 30 mins then my whole system froze. Could be down to this patch or just dodgy prgramming in the orriginal game. Cos this game is realy buggy and misbehaves even when i play it properly with the proper cd in the drive. When i used the 1.14 no cd patch ,actually, in my opinion, made the game more stable has mine use to crash while the safedisc menu ran right at the beggining.

the game lags even on a LAN - its that buggy.

one funny thing. Becuase in the change log they say that lag on LAN game has been fixed. :p

have you tested it ?

No I haven't test online. But I have tested single play only.
