If some of those aren't dummy files and they are real files what can you do. I mean would a regular DVD-RW be able to write a DVD-9 format. Im sort of new to this so if this sounds stupid you can guess why. I got an A04 by the way just yesterday only $200:D

If that is the case, we would have to find a way to split the game onto 2 dvd-r's....
AND, NO..... A drive such as the A04 will NOT write a DVD-9 blank (even if you could get them).....

From what I noticed on PS2 GAMES ONLY:


Blue bottom disc = CDR

Silver bottom disc = DVD5

Gold bottom disc = DVD9

GT 2002 chinese version is DVD9 format, but it only has 3.5GB.
the reason for this is DVD9 sell 2 times $$ of DVD5 games.

DVD5 games sells at 10-15 chinese yuan
DVD9 games sells at 45-50 chinese yuan.

by burn it on DVD9, they make more money!
like today, they burn VF4 (CD) into a DVD5.
