Hi Everyone, I'm new to the forums. Great site!

I REALLY hate to sound like a broken record on this topic, but here's my situation. I have 3 PC's (1 server, 2 clients) in the house that I would like to run a LAN game on. So, after reading the NUMEROUS posts on this site concerning NO-CD crack this and personal server crack that, I've also met with no success whatsoever. I even followed the steps EXACTLY as stated above by OrEoZ. However, the result always ends up the same. I get the error message ...

"Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application."

Here's what I'm doing: After following OrEoZ steps above I double-click the cracked BF1942.EXE on the machine I want to run as dedicated, NOT the DedicatedServer.exe itself. I do this because I have yet to hear mention of or see a DedicatedServer.exe crack anywhere. So, I am assuming all this cracked stuff applies to the BF1942.EXE only.

I tell the game I want to run dedicated, select # players, password, the map, etc... and select CREATE GAME. I then get the message I've included above about inserting the correct CD-ROM. This is on the server side, not the client.

To employ an often used phrase here on the boards, "What am I missing here?"
