Sometimes this error happens because there are special characters in the name of compressed files, or in the path chosen for compression.

I've same problem. I got the error on 16.8%. :(
And I used the suggested compression method of compressor.

Make sure to disable windows defender, especially the real-time protection. I got the same error yesterday at 16.8% as some people reported because protection was turned on :rolleyes:

Now it's jammed on 15.7% instead of 16.8! :|

I finally use the method below and now it works well. :)
