yep the exteral HDDs are cheaper in long run , but after my two 500GB drives died out of nowhere within i week , i just have more trust in DVDs ;)

DVD2: 7.26 GB
DVD3: 7.39 GB
DVD4: 7.34 GB
DVD5: 1.92 GB

well i deleted non english voiceovers in \game\sound so it spared me around 2GB

Probably removed foreign languages, i dont know if they ae ripping videos so that is also possible. They might probably used delta and precomp as well.

It is theory though

suggest you re-read first post again.. he's stated NOT doing a dvd5 version or a HD version.

Labour lost here, I removed the languages that do not use so far so good no more converted Data8.cab created, the result set is asking for it and did not finish the installation.
