Right I THINK that may be related to the empty virtual drive Daemon Tools created.

Go to Add/Remove programs and have a little looksee if it's still listed

whateverandever1982 24-10-2005 10:21

Its not listed

This is what it looks like, the dvd drives

Just loads up a black screen as I say and every now and then will bring up the please insert the correct cd error

Does anyone have an idea to what the problem could be with my earlier error, with the game crashing before it has even started and with the error about accomptant.txt?

@manuello7: If you don't have the original game then don't ask for help on this forum; that's forum rule #1!

being pedantic hardly wins you any votes...

Right, the method I had working stopped after I restart my machine and I had to reinstall the damn game, think it was cos of antiblaxx.

But I got it going.

Download S4h here

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZIYQ0U73

Open Daemon, Mount the image, leave Daemon open
Run S4H
Click Hide
Run the game

I'm sorry I don't wanna fight with anyone in here. Peace out to everyone, as soon as I get my copy I'll try to make a mini image of it.

problems with football manager 2006

hey [new to the forum!!]

i recently got fm 2006, what a great game and have been reading what u guys do to run the game without the cd. its great , so i did it, got the image in mds and mdf files and then loaded it on to daemon and ran the game after changing compatability to windows nt service pack 5.

so all was going great.....but then...

come Jan 2006 (in the game - specifically 6th jan if anyone else gets the same error) - the game shuts down after an error . its a windows error that creates a dmp file in the program files folder for the game.

now everytime i load my save up again, the error appears, exactly the same day. its really annoying because i cant get past the 6th.

does anyone else have the same problem and could anyone advise on what to do?

thanks
ilyas

Try turning of compatibility mode and using the link in my last post instead of antiblaxx

unleashedmaniac 25-10-2005 01:03

Hi, ArsenalFc, i see you know what your doing, shame i don't,lol. Anyway, it's still not starting and just coming up about the program encountering an error and needing to close, the only difference in the error report are the numbers and letters changing (98fd_appcompat.txt). If you could give me any ideas to why this is happening i would be very grateful, i have tried reinstalling and still no luck.

Hi,
I would like to know whether my save game in FM2006 (using the cd image) can work in my original FM2006 game (using the original cd to install) ?

Thanks

ArsenalFc 25-10-2005 04:21

Pulse - Yes it will. Any tactics you had for FM2005 can also be opened by FM2006 but I dont think training routines can.

Unleashed, what O/S you on? I actually know a lot less than it seems, I just share everything I DO know!
