Thank you very mach! It's worked
|
New version uploaded.
|
By mistake I uploaded my test folder of u5. The only differences are renamed Background folder (_Background) and a few changes in Setup.ini which I forgot to change back before uploading.
However, tomorrow I will upload a whole new archive with a hotfix from today and fix my mistakes :D |
New archive added.
|
Can I set different decompression methods for different bin files?
|
Yes sure. Just make sure to include them in CIU (use COMPRESSOR.ini file to include the methods you have used for your archives).

U4 version uninstall game is very slow, how to make him faster, 3.0.0.1 version uninstall game is very fast

Hey guys, I was editing the old conversion(Revo's Middle-Earth) to the new script and I always edit or make the installer without small installer. So there is a strange thing happening that disabled Back and Next button are not hiding in the new script. It used to hide until CIU 2.0.3.9 U15.2. But in CIU 3.0.0.0.u4 or u5, it is showing those disabled-buttons. Check the images.

From what I can remember, the names of the buttons have been changed and many other options. You need to check or set everything from the new Setup.ini

Thank You. |
it is possible that it works under Windows 32Bit ?????
|
It works on 32bit systems.
Change "64BitOnly=1" to "0" |
U4 version The remaining installation time is not displayed correctly. The actual installation time is 4 hours, but the display takes 100 hours. Is there any way to solve it?

hey guys, i figured out how to make an almost full screen setup wizard with CIU. just go into setup.ini and under 'Setup Interface' and 'Autorun Interface' change the 'width and height' to something like Width=1038 and Height=650
or if you want more room to position your button in, Width=1093 Height=750. dont forget you will need to change the actual image sizes of your png autorun/installer1/installer2/installer3/etc pictures using a freeware or commercial image editor. I recommend irfanview for basic resizing but if you really want to get fancy, you can use photoshop. of course there are plenty of other freeware and payware image editors, i just find these two the easiest to use. also for the small installer, if you want a big small installer image, change 'Width and Height' under small installer to 630 x 330 respectively. Also keep in mind when you adjust the picture, you may also want to use razor12911's graphicstudio to adjust the left/top position of the buttons, but since there is no actual gui to do this, it will take trial and error. i am going to write a quick tutorial and attach it to the next post on how to do this. paws out. -Kitsune |
