I have used
"packcmd = pzlib e -m2 -x -st75p -t8 -ct8 -c8m -b512k -r1"

Webster17 16-04-2018 09:40

Assassin's Creed Syndicate (19.6Gb)
Afr -a2+srep+lzma for .forge files
binkpack for videos
srep+lzma for rest

Warning : The temp files created by AFR are very huge, so you might need much more space than you expect

Webster17 16-04-2018 09:42

Call of Duty World at War (3.61Gb)
Precomp+srep+lzma for .ff(zone) files only
Binkpack for videos
srep+lzma for .iwd and rest

pzlib3/ztool/xtool = archive data corrupted, no matter what options i use.

Code:

[External compressor:xprecomp]
header    = 0
packcmd  = xtool.exe e:precomp:t4 - - <stdin> <stdout>
unpackcmd = xtool.exe d:precomp:t4 - - <stdin> <stdout>

Code:

Compressed 1 file, 5,067,776 => 47,620,292 bytes. Ratio 939.67%
Compression time: cpu 0.00 sec/real 2.40 sec = 0%. Speed 2.11 mB/s

Extracted 1 file, 47,620,292 => 5,067,776 bytes. Ratio 939.67%
Extraction time: cpu 0.02 sec/real 1.93 sec = 1%. Speed 2.62 mB/s

Worked for this file, then error on another file (out of over 50k).

Same with KCD, crc error on 1 file, tested different settings, file extracted Ok, then error on another file, like wtf:rolleyes:

I give up on this.

Game size will be around 5 to 9 gb depending on how much content you rip
Important Note: Don't rip anything else except localization and video files as this game is already buggy and doing anything will make it crash.

Replacement for sonic forces repack method

http://fileforums.com/showpost.php?p...&postcount=444

Sonic Forces

i used the under development xtools that Razor is developing in this repack
it can be found here

ZakirAhmad 18-04-2018 19:28

Compressed FarCry 2 from 3.15GB to 1.62GB

First used Dunia Recompressor on .fat dat files then compressed the output with srep+lolz.
bpk on bik files.
i tried oggre +srep +lz77 on sound files but it caused error during decompression.
then used srep +lz77 on sound files.

Andu21 19-04-2018 04:41

Spec Ops The Line (7.81 GB > 3.54 GB)

*.tfc, *.upk (6.35 GB > 2.43 GB)
Code:

uelr:u+srep:m5f:l2048:hash-+lolz:d512m:fba4096:x1
*.bik (1.41 GB > 1.08 GB)
Code:

bpk+srep:m5f:l16:hash-
*.* (92.7 MB)
Code:

delta+rz:48m                                                                        19.7 MB
srep:m3f:hash-+delta+exe2+lolz:d80m:tt16:oh11:x2:mc1023:bc7:bll1:bm7:dm20        20.0 MB

Notes:
There might be room for improvement compressing some *.upk files separately since there are some mp3 and wave streams.

Why rz? lolz faster unpacking

Andu21 19-04-2018 05:27

Compressed better, lolz output was 2XMB without tweaking too much options. I'm sure lolz can get to rz result or less but i don't have the time now to test it, maybe in the future.

Sergey3695 19-04-2018 05:32

ZakirAhmad 19-04-2018 05:48

Compressed FarCry 3 Complete Edition from 7.93 gb to 3.9gb

used first Dunia Recompressor by Edison On fat dat files then compressed output with srep+lolz

used srep+ lz77 on audio files
oggre also compresses them but during extraction error occurs.

used srep+exe2+delta+lolz on other files.

I am going to compress Mass effect 2 Ultimate Edition.
I am going to need only english language and i want to remove other languages that is the files marked with DEU FRA etc.
I have to keep only files marked with INT for english.
Now i know that .afc files r sound files but their r .pcc files also marked with INT DEU etc. did i have to remove them too.
Is game stable after removal of other languages.
thanks

KaktoR 20-04-2018 01:44

Yes

Only make sure do not remove startup_* and/or *.tlk files. Not 100% sure, but in ME3 when they got removed for other languages you got hieroglyphics text ingame

-msrep:m3f:hash-+delta+exe2+lolz:tt16:mtb128:d512m:oh14:fba256:mc1024 > 20.1 MB

Also, lolz used "mtb40m:d80m" instead. Not the first dataset i encounter with this issue.

Compressed Mass Effect 2 ultimate edition from 16.6gb to 6.09 gb

used
uelr +srep+lolz on main game .pcc files
srep+lolz on DLC's .pcc files. using uelr on them is useless as they contain type 8 streams.
bpk +srep on .bik
exe2+delta+srep+lolz on other files.

u can also use cls uelr x64 by Edison to extract files from archive compressed with uelr, it increases extraction speed by 35% at least.

KaktoR 23-04-2018 00:06

Warcraft III: The frozen Throne
ztool+srep+lzma
1.38GB => 1.04GB

with lolz it's 1.03GB, so not worth the extra time.

FarCry 3 Digital (RUS/ENG Voice)

common.dat & .fat
fc3_main.dat & .fat
ige.dat & .fat
multicommon.dat & .fat
shadersobj.dat & .fat
This filles recompresis with Dunia Engine Recompressor, then compressing with srep+lolz
Sound Files and other files - srep+lolz

Repack Size - 3.8 gb
Install size - 7.6 gb
Installation time - 15 min (restore in 4 thread)

You will need an additional 10 GB of free space for temporary files

rep – deletes repetitions. it's faster unpacked than lzma and other on bad compression files.

ZakirAhmad 02-05-2018 00:55

Help! if u know how to do it.

I want to repack mass effect 3 but since its .sfar files r lzma compressed and their is no tool available.

I just wanted to do it like FG.
extact the files .sfar compress the output, the after unpacking recreate sfar.

but in order to create md5 perfect files, i wanted to use xdelta.
when i compared orginal .sfar and my recreated one, the difference is as big as the orgernal.
can someone point how to accomplish this.

thanks.
