XTool v0.12 x86 + oo2core_5,dll + srep + your_favorite_Compressor

NOTE
Install may be very-very-very long because strong oodle streams

Rename oo2core_8_win64.dll to oo2core_7_win64.dll and put it next to oo2reck.exe for precompression.

I used a similar method to dixen for mine and got slightly smaller since I do not use "fast mode" lolz.

Why he does not use bpk on bik files?

Because crc errors on unpack

This is getting more common, interestingly.

A recent game: Hades: Battle out of Hell also uses Bink videos, but they can't be compressed with bpk either - errors with pack and unpack.

KaktoR 21-10-2020 09:20

Well I have tested and you can pack them with bpk, but can't unpack because there is an infinite unpack loop. For example, a 500mb bik file will unpack to a few gb if you wait a few minutes.

File headers looks the same for working and non-working bink files.

Hi, I did what was told..
Renamed "oo2core_8_.dll" to "oo2core_7_.dll" in the game folder
Copied the "oo2core_7_.dll" and replaced it in DiskSpan
Then compressed with "oo2reck+srep:m3f+4x4:b64mb:lzma:ultra:64m:bt4:fb2 73:lc8:mc1000000" all the .sds files and compressed to 4 GB...
But during installation, it shows the following error...
Attachment 28153
Is there anything wrong???

Prettyboy099 22-10-2020 06:52
