Sorry for the late post, but I only just now thought about buying this on PC since I recently heard Ubisoft has dropped Starforce from their games. I was just wondering though, is there a patch to remove it from POP:TTT or any of the others they used it on?

Currently there is no 'patch' to remove Starforce, unless it's been re-released as a budget title and they've removed it!

I can confirm that the game has been Rereleased recently in Europe as part of The Prince of Persia trilogy under Ubisoft's Exclusive label. I got the the trilogy recently, and starforce has been replaced by a harmless cd check. Unfortunately the game is Censored (Don't know about Us version, or if it exists under this new label, please let me know if it does).

That's good to know, though I'll hope there's a UK/US release budget release soon if there isn't already. Won't be buying the game until I can install it free of Starforce and it's driver.

Using this crack will cause the game to become censored. Despite having been released several years ago and being one of the best games of all-time, there is no proper way to play without Starforce.

By the time we are now this game is part of gog catalog: no more starforce uncompatible driver crap and remastered on someway

Also, if you're having trouble getting it working, make sure you're using the right CD key. I think the European DVD version and the US 3CD version require different keys.
You can disable it in the device manager IF you have no hard drives on the same IDE controller (eg if you have a SATA HDD) - Disabling the drive doesn't work, but disabling the IDE controller to which it's connected will.

Disabling the DVD Drive Maybe but disabling the sata controller from the hard Drive could be a bad idea...

Your only problem is that your image is not good enough.If your device cannot backup SF3 correctly just download correct .mds file from www.copybase.ch and replace your .mds with the downloaded.Then just mount and play.
