i believe that this was the post thaT we acrually met each other...good and unbelievable!!!:D :p :D

here again i am .

what is considered a 1:1 these days?

a copy that runs without crack/emulation

:p :p :p :p :p

bwa and twin peaks do either of them make a copy non 1:1?
and what does emulation constitute?

A working backup doesn't mean 1:1!

1:1 is an exact (bit by bit) copy of the original. twinpeak (etc.) is just fooling/reproducing the protection, that is not 1:1.

So a 1:1 doesn't necessarily mean a game that runs without crack/emulation.

Emualtion becomes necessary, when the "fooling" techniques don't work......

although this is a copy protections forum i think that this could be our open to any matter topic...huh?

wow i just read the whole thread
this single thread can be considered as an own forum :p

You're hardcore, have you nothing better to do?

yeah i´m bored atm but it was fun to read.

this thread should be made a sticky cos it´s a "classic" (started for 2 years)
and it covers kinda everything... copy protections, bored member postings etc. ;)

Tagged by Krondike.

NOW it's completed. Now it's not only covers copy protections, bored member postings etc. (like CDKiller said) it's also got a tag/reply from Krondike.

STICKEYS HERE WE COME'S!

Hell yeah, I had almost forgotten this one.....and I am bored

Have some skittlme bru :D

Unfortunately this thread has become almost obsolete due to the chitchat stuff. Nevertheless, this is the last reanimation.....just for all those romantics....

Well well well! Isn't it amazing the things I stumble accross whilst looking for something else! Ive just spent nearly an hour reading all the 31 pages here! All the original posters from 2002 should now review what they wrote back then and then update their thoughts! It was a strange an interesting read! :)

holy crap this thread is still goinG?

i just stopped by after a year of abscenc about and this trhread is still a live
AMAZING! SUGE

Hi.

Also I have a Problem.
My Game "Der Pate" (the german version from the godfather) doensn´t work. My Friend says I need a german no DVD crack.
Where can i get that?

Please help me... THANKS !!!!:)

You ressurect an old thread (last post April 30th 2005 !!!).
Please use the SEARCH.
There are enough threads about The Godfather / Der Pate !!!

Im amazed lestard even managed to find this thread. Whats even funnier is that this thread is about absolutely nothing! Just random chit chat by members, who may or may not post here anymore.

Then lestard goes and ruins it by asking about a crack. For shame!

Yes, now it is absolutely ruined !!:-)

I wonder what became of the posters in this thread!

Almost 4am and here I am going through the history of Fileforums. Place seems much more different now.
