Sometimes when i create a shortcut, i doesn't run it instead brings an error. what could be the problem please.
And also how do i make a shortcut run as administrator.

most times they are different, but i still remember these two. "for simulator 15, i get this. Ini file not found at C:\Users\Dansoft\Desktop\codex.ini"
and "for wanted weapons of fate i get The application has terminated unexpectedly, we apologize for the inconvenience!"
But when i run their .exe files the games open fine.
It happens with some games not all.

How Can I open website or webpage in asc please help.

for the first one, simulator 15, looks like you put a specific directory, rather then {app} itself, which could be any directory end-user specifies, rather then the one specific one you input.

The second one could be that your OS isn't compatable, check game requirements, or use no-dvd crack, to make sure game runs properly first.

He is not suspended as far as I am aware ... he has added the 'Account Suspended' himself as his 'Custom Title'. I have no idea why?

Hey guys, ya am after long time, I am on my trip and still I am busy with my trip, but today I thought to check the forum, BTW the reason why razor is not online is because he was having exams from 17th October and that's why he was offline from 3 days, and that is the reason why he added the custom title as "Account Suspended". I am preety sure he wants to concentrate on his studies only. BTW why you guys are spamming the thread? Just I think now you got your answers. Now don't spam the thread!

you can't add password in asc
if you are using rar file then go to configuration click add button
change arc extract to rar extract

I added 2 bin files In first file the transfer rate is more than 10.52GB\s then when it extract the second file the transfer rate is 0.00mb\s and installation didn't complete......failed!!!!
Each and every time this happens.... I am using arc files

Hi Guys,

want to report an annoying behaviour with asc (or bug?).... and big number of files extract!

Let's take an example: I wanted to recompress Skyrim SE and to acheive this purpose I extracted game files from .bsa

Game went from 12 Gb to 20 Gb once done, and involves 120.000 files.

Freearc compression goes ok and I could recompress game to 8Gb ...so far, I am very happy with that except that it does not decompress properly and loose a lot of time waiting for...nothing!

Endeed, ASC launches Arc Exctract command ok but I have to wait 10 min before % progress bar starts and show installation.... then install time is pretty fast (10 min) but ASC doesn't stop reaching 100% and goes on for about 10min again before it says "install successfull".... sometimes it takes 2 min to finish, sometimes 10/15 min, went up to 40 min....

Moreover, It can also give a "data.bin couldn't be extracted" eventhough install has already been successfull with same archive .... it is very eratic and hardly understandable .....especially if you think that decompression actually works and all files to be extracted are in the install dir at the end, even when it gives me an error message

This error is given even after 100% install reached and files decompressed ok in install dir

I tried changing compressors (Razor UltraArc, Masked 2.5.1, Masked compressor x86, compressor 1.2....)
I changed methods (and used simple srep +lzma),
I changed freearc parameters (solidblocks, sorting files options.... )
I choped game files into 4 Gb parts (5x4Gb parts).... reduced waiting to 2 mins but it didn't improve waiting time after it reaches 100%

This is annoying cause I have 20/25 min waiting for 10 min decompressing!!!


......this always happens with games that involve a lot of small files!, it is not a matter of size as I could recompress BF1 with same method from 47Gb to 28Gb, and asc installs it in 15 min!! no waiting, no error, but much less small files!

Anybody with the same problem ? ....Thx in advance for answer!

(had this problem with SkyrimSE, WD Michonne, MGSV TPP so far....in fact had problems with games I extracted files from for better ratio at compression)

It is not a hardware problem! my rig:
fresh windows 10 install, no Anti Virus, High-End PC ([email protected] , 8Gb RAM, raptor 10000rpm/150Gb as main drive, GTX 660)

Please use English language only

I also have such errors.
I Extract With rar extract it couldn't extract all archive. but it shows installation complete.

full size after extract with winrar is 13gb & game Worked Great. But when extracting with asc it get only 600mb many game files are missing. what the prob....

I'm Sure it's Not A PC's Prob......

I included tutorial, comes with program.

The tutorial is very complete because it details the functions of the program but it would be wonderful if you added (in practice) examples to create an installer (for the non-experts)

When the ASC got updates I'll make the tutorials for it.
Current version is buggy and now laggy too. So wait for updates. :)

yea well the programming software creators are the ones to blame, they changed something between xe8 and berlin 10.1, old source doesn't compile without irritating errors, on the other hand, i got zarc project.

But older projects will be supported?? Cause you are creating it's from scratch.
